NIMA Scarves

The three fates – Moirai – were a group of weaving goddesses, processing the thread – NIMA – of life. Clotho, the spinner, represents birth and symbolizes the present. Lachesis, the allotter, measures its allotted length, she decides the luck and symbolizes the past. Atropos, the unturning, cuts it when time comes and symbolizes the future.

Printed on NIMA scarves, are textures of traditional Greek costumes, of post Byzantium era. Textures of elaborately processed NIMA, embroidered on the clothes of another era, where clothes meant to last forever.
